To our valued guests,

For those who were on the mountain yesterday, you’re aware that we experienced  a long line of riders wanting to get their share of our fresh PoW . We had a bluebird day with 50cm of fresh amazing Powder which was a dream to ride. Due to the exceptional snow & weather conditions, both seasons pass holders and reserved day ticket holders all decided to show up. Additionally, the road to Manning Park was closed and we faced a large influx of visitors WITHOUT reservations showing up in hopes of being able to get a ticket on arrival. Let’s not forget that the season has just recently started and now that everyone is on Christmas break, we are into our absolute busiest time of the year.

In consideration of the challenging times presented by COVID-19, we have worked hard to put in place new safety procedures including an RFID system, online bookings and limited capacities to enhance distancing both in the lodge and around the resort property. We really want our ski season to last the entire winter but we need everyone’s help in making this happen. The intent is to make your life easier, book from home, load your card and hit the lifts. Our team is working around the clock to manage a brand new system to us while facing rigid new procedures due to a worldwide pandemic. Please follow our social media for the latest updates and read our website so you can be informed of these procedures and protocols before you come up the mountain. We have never faced a day like this before. We have never faced a pandemic like this before, but be sure, our small but passionate team is listening to all your comments, ideas, feedbacks, encouragements (thank you so much for standing up for us) and complaints. Once we get through this initial period of everyone getting set up with their RFID cards, you will just go straight to the lifts and we can resume the small to NO lineups that we are known for at Sasquatch Mountain. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times.

Here is a kind reminder that masks are mandatory both inside the building and outside anywhere on resort property. Please bring your holiday spirit and be kind to our very young, seasonal staff who are all doing the best they can!  Please be advised that abuse and aggression towards any of our team members will NOT be tolerated along with guests refusing to wear masks or practice distancing as requested.

Know before you go! Check for regular updates and new procedures, be sensible, be patient, be kind…be SAFE!

Let’s make this winter season go the distance TOGETHER!

Wishing you all safe and happy holidays from your friendly backyard team at Sasquatch Mountain Resort
