Enjoy the beautiful scenery at Sasquatch Mountain

Whether you’re into lift accessed Guided backcountry hiking or peaceful strolls through the evergreens surrounding our village, we have a trek to suit you! No experience necessary.

Looking for a nice gentle stroll through the trees? This is the trek for you! Follow the track from the bottom of Skyline chair around the village finishing up by the tubing hill. Last departure time is at 2:00 pm.

3.9km and 137m of elevation gain, the red loop is a pleasant trip through our valley bottom. This scenic trek takes you through beautiful forest, along creeks and past residences where the trail crosses roads. With minimal elevation gain, this is a good option for those new to snowshoeing or those snow shoe joggers seeking a good cardio workout.

Not for the faint-hearted! This trek starts with an intense uphill climb following the yellow markers up JJ’s and East View Road before crossing over to Mt Klaudt via the Land Bridge. After you’ll be trekking back down. Turn right at the base of Mt Klaudt or for those with energy to spare.

Last departure time is at 1:00 pm.

5,27km and a 390m of elevation gain, this trail climbs through the ski area along the Eastview Road ski run before crossing out of the ski terrain. Follow the old forest service road through the scenic subalpine terrain, across a land bridge, past a deep ravine with views of the village and surrounding mountains before joining back up with the base loop.

An extension of the base loop continuing through the valley bottom for 1,66km and an elevation gain of 44m. This is a very relaxing and peaceful area to listen to the creek and maybe catch one of our residents beavers.

*All trekkers must have a valid Trail Pass
