Village Loop (Red Trail)
Beginner
Total Distance: 5km
Total Elevation Gain and Loss: 100 meters
Estimated Time: Full Loop 2-3 hours
Trailhead Location: Sasquatch Chair loading station
Trail Marker: Red
Easiest trail, great for beginners, family friendly, groomed daily and passes through the village.
Cross-country skiing permitted on the Village Loop ONLY.
Old Yeller (Yellow Trail)
Beginner/Intermediate
Total Distance: 4km
Total Elevation Gain and Loss: 173 meters
Estimated Time: 3-4 hours
Trailhead Location: Sasquatch chair loading station
Trail Marker: Yellow
Uphill and downhill travel, single track, circumnavigates a large gully with beautiful views of the Mt.Keenan and the village.
Ridge Run (Orange Trail)
Intermediate
Total Distance: 7km
Total Elevation Gain and Loss: 447 meters
Estimated Time: 5-7 hours
Trailhead Location: Sasquatch Chair loading station
Trail Marker: Orange
Significant uphill and downhill travel, for experienced snowshoers. Single-track. Ridge Run circles the resort with 360 degree views.
Mount Cartmel (Green Trail)
Advanced

Total Elevation Gain and Loss: 454 meters

Significant uphill and downhill travel, for experienced snowshoers. Single-track. Views of Harrison Lake, Mt Baker and the Cascade Range.
Mount Klaudt (Blue Trail)
Advanced
Total Distance: 8km
Total Elevation Gain and Loss: 389 meters
Estimated Time: 6-8 hours

Trail Marker: Blue
Significant uphill and downhill travel, for experienced snowshoers. Single-track, very steep sections. Views of Harrison Lake, Mt Baker and the Cascade Range to the south through old-growth forest.
Guided Snowshoe Treks
Sasquatch Mountain Resort offers guided snowshoe treks!
They are approximately 2.5 hours long and suitable for beginner or intermediate snowshoers.
$79 (add $20 for snowshoe rentals if needed) + GST (includes guided tour, trail pass and chair lift ride to the top of Sasquatch)
$59 + GST for additional guests

When Snowshoeing on our trails, make sure to bring:
- Warm Waterproof Clothing
- Layers (you’ll get warm so you will want to remove layers as you go)
- Eye Protection (sunglasses or goggles will protect your eyes from the elements)
- Waterproof Footwear (hiking boots, snow boots or snowboard boots are good…. running shoes are not)
- Gloves, Scarves and Hats
- Snacks
- Water
Ten Essential Systems for longer/backcountry treks
- Navigation: map, compass, altimeter, GPS device, personal locator beacon (PLB) or satellite messenger
- Headlamp: plus extra batteries
- Sun protection: sunglasses, sun-protective clothes and sunscreen
- First aid including foot care and insect repellent (as needed)
- Knife plus a gear repair kit
- Fire matches, lighter, tinder and/or stove
- Shelter carried at all times (can be a light emergency bivy)
- Extra food Beyond the minimum expectation
- Extra water Beyond the minimum expectation
- Extra clothes Beyond the minimum expectation
