With no experience necessary, what are you waiting for…?

Please note: Trails are not track packed for cross country skiing. Cross Country Skiers may use Base Trail only.

Snow Shoe Guided Treks

There aren’t any better ways to enjoy snow shoeing than with a guide to keep you on the right track while imparting some knowledge about the local area! There are a number of 2 and 3 hour treks so be sure to speak with your guide to decide which trek to embark on.

Snow Shoe / Cross Country Ski Un-Guided Treks

(All trekkers must have a valid Trail Pass)

*Base Loop – Looking for a nice gentle stroll through the trees? This is the trek for you! Follow the track from the bottom of Skyline chair around the village finishing up by the tube hill. Last Departure time 2pm and Don’t forget to sign back in upon your return!

** Mt Klaudt Loop – Not for the faint hearted! This trek starts with an intense uphill climb following the yellow markers up JJ’s and East View Road  before crossing over to Mt Klaudt via the Land Bridge… and down. turn right at the base of Mt Klaudt or for those with energy to spare turn left to include the Base Loop. Last Departure time 1pm and Don’t forget to sign back in upon your return!

Snow Shoe Essentials

(You are coming to a winter environment so be prepared!)

  1. Warm Waterproof Clothing
  2. Layers (you’ll get hot so you will need to remove some as you go)
  3. Eye Protection (sunglasses or goggles will protect your eyes from the elements)
  4. Waterproof Footwear (hiking boots, snow boots or snowboard boots are good….UGG boots and running shoes are not!
  5. Gloves, Scarves and Hats
  6. Snacks (to keep your energy levels up)
  7. Water…..

Details and Booking Policies:

  • All Treks must be paid for at the time of booking.
  • A $15 administration fee will be applied to cancellations within 72 hours of your pre-booked Trek start time.
  • A $15 administration fee will be applied to any scheduling changes within 24 hours of your Trek start time.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 24 hours of your Trek start time.
  • If you miss your Trek, no refunds will be issued.
  • All rates are in Canadian funds; taxes are not included.
  • Participants snow shoeing without a guide should sign out and in at Guest Services
  • The purchase of a trail pass or ticket is required for all and any use of our trails
  • We do not offer Cross Country Ski Rentals
